About the wine
Motivated by his enthusiasm for good wines, Andrea Davaz founded von Salis AG in 1994 with two friends. You yourself cultivate around two hectares of your own vines in the Bündner Herrschaft. They also source from over 60 grape growers in Fläsch, Maienfeld, Jenins, Malans, Zizers and Trimmis. The Grisons grapes grow there on more than 50 hectares, making the wines something special.
Tasting note
On the charming nose, fruity raspberry notes, rock candy and also some wild herbs; on the palate, a velvety, elegant body with a flattering fruit sweetness, again raspberries, then gingerbread spices and persistent until the gentle finale. An uncomplicated ruler with a high fun factor!
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with Bündner Platte, Grisons specialties and meat dishes.
