Tasting note
Mariano Di Paola, chief oenologist at Rutini, says about this wine: Rutini Malbec Coleccion is a refined wine with a deep red color. On the nose Concentrated with notes of wild berries, tobacco and vanilla. The palate is strong with black berries and a long-lasting finish with a slight hint of pepper. This wine is the most famous wine from Rutini in Argentina and is considered the perfect wine to give as a gift or to celebrate a special occasion!
Culinary recommendation
Excellent with beef and lamb from the charcoal grill, as well as game dishes and medium-aged cheeses.
Vinification
Stemmed, 30 days of mash fermentation followed by malolactic acid degradation. 80% of the wine is aged in new French and 20% new American oak barrels for 12 months.
