About the wine

Tasting note
Brilliant garnet red with ruby reflections. The nose is richly scented with red berries, warm spices, some black chocolate, tobacco and cedar wood. The palate is very multi-faceted and complex. With wonderfully supple tannins, aromas of ripe red berries and elegant roasted aromas. An extremely elegant wine with excellent length.
Culinary recommendation
A great wine to pair with oven-baked poultry, a T-bone steak, saddle of venison or aged cheese.
Vinification
The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are harvested as late harvest according to strict quality requirements and gently pressed. The mash fermentation takes place in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks. The young wine then matures for 14 months in French Tronçais barriques and a further 12 months in large oak barrels. This is followed by an 18-month bottle rest before the wine goes on sale.
