Tasting note
Château du Tertre is dark red in color and has beautiful purple reflections. The expressive nose smells of cassis, black berries and subtle lavender notes. The tannins are polished, the structure is elegant and slightly mineral, plus the aromas of raspberries and blueberries typical of the Margaux appellation. The wine has a lot of potential and is fun even in its youth.
Culinary recommendation
The wine is an excellent accompaniment to dishes full of character.
Vinification
The grapes were picked by hand and then stored in barriques after fermentation. New wood content 50%. The wine is aged for 12 to 15 months in French barriques.
