About the wine
Do you already know the distinctive Zweigelt Markowitsch Ried Kirchweingarten Carnuntum with the 2015 vintage? If not, it's time! With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Austrian producer name winery produces this red wine in the sunny countryside of Carnuntum. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Zweigelt is ideal to be served with boiled beef or roast onion.

Tasting note
The KIRCHWEINGARTEN vineyard is a slightly sloping, southwest-facing slope at around 180-190 meters above sea level, located directly below the church in Höflein. On the nose, there are aromas of ripe plums, heart cherries and candied orange zest, subtly backed by delicate nougat tones. Juicy, with pleasant fruit sweetness and fine, well-integrated tannins, elegant with good length.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with venison, steaks, as well as all other dark meats and stews.
Vinification
Angaben über Vinifizierung: Spontane und offene Maischegärung bei 30°C. Ein Teil der Trauben wird nicht entrappt, um die Intensität der Aromen zu erhöhen. Es folgt der Ausbau während 18 Monaten in Eichenfässern.
