About the wine
The winemaker from the Spanish winery Marqués de Cáceres has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the picturesque and fertile landscape of Upper Ebros. This fresh Tempranillo 2012 — Marques de Caceres Reserva DOCa Rioja is a hit down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This tempranillo is ideal to be served with red meat or lasagna.

Tasting note
Dark ruby red color with aromas of sour cherries, vanilla and light roasted aromas. Fine-layered, balanced and well-balanced.

Goes well with beef, venison, grill and lamb
Vinification
Blend of 85% Tempranillo, 10% Garnacha tinta and 5% Graciano. After the malolactic fermentation is complete, the wine is filled into French oak barrels and transferred every 6 months. The wine spends a total of 20 months in barrels: 1/3 new barrels, 1/3 1-year old barrels and 1/3 2-year-old barrels. It is then stored in the bottle for another 2 years.
