About the wine
This dominant Chardonnay 2015 — Massiv Weiss Cuvée is a triumph in the truest sense of the word down to the last drop! The winemaker from the Austrian Weingut Keringer masters this white wine with sensitivity and intuition in the picturesque countryside of Burgenland. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Chardonnay with soft cheese or goat cheese.
Tasting note
The latest trick from Keringer, consisting of 90% Chardonnay and 10% mash-fermented Traminer. A full-bodied white with remarkable structure. The Traminer content gives it a fine, spicy depth with aromas of honeydew melon, nashi pear and fresh orange zest, spiced with notes of cardamom, dried herbs and a fine smoky touch of precious wood. Full-bodied palate with fine fruit texture.
Culinary recommendation
With its stature, it accompanies various fish and seafood dishes such as fried sea bream on orange fennel salad or crawfish with tarragon sauce, as well as slightly stronger dishes with poultry and white meat.
