About the wine
The Bodegas Mauro winery is located in Tudela de Duero, a few kilometers from the DO Ribera del Duero area border. The legendary winemaker Mariano García and his two sons run the winery with great passion. For years, they have been pressing the first-class Tempranillo-based Mauro Tinto Cosecha with a little Syrah in the cuvée. Matured in barriques, it impresses with its fruity, silky nuances and its compact structure. Another fantastic vintage from Mauro!

Tasting note
Impenetrable purple. On the nose, an intense, ripe aroma, with notes of opulent black fruit and beguiling, exotic spices. On the palate, rich, warming fruit aromas are revealed, paired with distinctive mineral notes. The scent of precious wood is seamlessly integrated and elegantly and precisely woven into the compact structure.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with roasts, game, lamb and strong cheeses.
Vinification
Vinified in stainless steel tanks, then aged for 15 months in new and used French and American barriques.
