About the wine
Do you already know the provocative red wine Merlot Freiherr Alto Adige DOC from the 2013 vintage? If not, it's time! The winemaker from the Italian winery Kellerei Meran Burggräfler is absolutely proficient in his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the fertile and picturesque landscape of South Tyrol. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Merlot with slightly spicy red meat or duck.

Tasting note
Color: Intense dark red. Aroma: Complex fruity notes of sour cherries, blackberries, with a touch of licorice and chocolate. Character: Elegant and powerful on the palate with a long, harmonious finish.

Vinification
Aging in barriques and large oak barrels for 16 months.
