About the wine

Philippe Girard learned to lead Chardonnay and Pinot in Burgundy before joining the Domaine Girard families in the 5th. generation has taken over. The Domaine in the Côte Malepère in western Languedoc at the foot of the Pyrenees, with its high altitudes and cool Atlantic and mild Mediterranean influences, has been steeply uphill ever since. Year after year, the wines get better, more passionate, more refined, with astonishing freshness, like the Le Pic de 3 Seigneurs wines. Since 2016, the vineyards have been managed organically (not certified) and new ones have also been acquired. Another insider tip, you hear more and better from Philippe, a rising star!
