The latest prank by David Levasseur: With a focus on varietal specificity, in the interplay of reflecting the character of each vintage, he bottled a single-varietal Chardonnay, a Pinot Noir and a Meunier, in limited quantities and exclusively in Magnum. The base wine was aged in oak barrels without BSA. The bouquet features aromas of white peach, apple, some mirabelles and wild strawberries, backed by fine, subtly roasted spicy notes of smoked almonds, honey and a touch of anise. Showing nice texture on the palate, but with inviting freshness, good fruit and a fine, delicately tart tannin structure in the finale. RARITY - ONLY 155 MAGNUMS PRODUCED!
