About the wine
The 1er Cru Genevrières Meursault is an Old World wine through and through, as this Frenchman breathes an exceptional European charm that clearly underlines the success of Old World wines. When perfect physiological ripeness is ensured, the grapes for the 1er Cru Genevrières Meursault are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective grape harvesters.
Now until 2040
Tasting note
The wines from Meursault are characterized by aromas and flavors of ripe melon, hazelnut and lemon cream. They are generally wider and more structured than the wines from neighboring villages. Ageing in 15-20% small French oak barrels gives the wines notes of toast and vanilla
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fish dishes, white meat and light cream sauces.
