About the wine
The dominant red wine 2021 — Micina Nero d'Avola Appassionato Sicilia IGT is the missing piece of the puzzle in your wine rack. The winemaker from the Italian winery Cantine Cellaro has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the fertile and flourishing landscape of Sicily. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this Nero d'Avola with oxtail soup or risotto.
Tasting note
Intense ruby red. The nose is overwhelmingly rich in ripe red fruits with a balsamic spicy note. The tannins, which are well integrated in the extract, are fine and supple. A long, velvety finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with seasoned Italian cuisine, red meat and mature hard cheeses.
