About the wine
Spoil your guests at Christmas dinner with this provocative Merlot 2017 — Mille 1. Fertile and enchanting landscapes of Lombardy give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Pratello conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Flaschenpost team promises a culinary experience if you offer this Merlot with slightly spicy red meat or poultry.
Tasting note
The new Mille 1 is also incredibly fun! The aromas of cranberry and sour cherry are complemented by those of cassis and oriental spices. Its intense fruity-spicy taste is supported by pleasantly ripe tannins and a mild acidity. Even without food accompaniment, this wine can be enjoyed wonderfully relaxed.

Our recommendation: Enjoy this red wine at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. Flaschenpost team tip: Mille 1 goes well with slightly spicy, red meat, poultry and duck.
