About the wine
For the Mille e una Notte, the term supersizilaner would have to be introduced. Like a fairy tale from One Thousand and One Nights, or rather a poem. An inspiring Nero d'Avola, soft with a pleasantly fruity bouquet and the typical oriental spicy notes that we love so much about Sicilian wines!

Tasting note
The Mille e una Notte offers an extensive and engaging bouquet, characterized by notes of blackberries and mulberries as well as by balsamic notes such as licorice and spicy nuances and cocoa. On the palate, the Mille e una Notte from Donnafugata is soft and intense, surprised by the great fineness of the tannin. It concludes with a long persistence.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with lamb, pork and beef.
Vinification
Selective manual harvest. Aged for 13 months in new French oak barrels.
