The full-bodied, aromatic and complex sweet wine is a sought-after and, above all, rare specialty. Only 0.1% of the total cultivated area in South Tyrol is planted with rose muscatel! Christian Plattner picks the grapes late when ripe and allows 70% of them to air dry (like straw wine). The wine is aged in steel tanks. The beguiling bouquet features typical aromas of rose petals, “Turkish Delight”, juicy red berries and cherries, surrounded by spicy notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. Dense and harmonious on the palate, showing juicy fruit, with a great balance of sweetness, fresh acidity and fine tannin structure.
