About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Argiolas has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the fertile and sunny landscape of Sardinia. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this carignan with strong lamb stew or red meat.
Tasting note
The color of the wine is ruby red. On the nose, there are quite present aromas of cherries and plums with notes of vanilla and cinnamon. Harmonious and velvety on the palate with soft tannins, red fruits and spices, along with a long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Lamb, grilled food, pasta
Vinification
The must ferments for approx. 12 days at approx. 28°C. The wine then matures for about 12 months in barriques.
