About the wine
Emil Strickler is the name of the man who pressed his way to the top of Portugal in less than 20 years. The Swiss has owned the relatively small winery since 1998. The secret recipe for his meteoric rise? It is better to produce a little but conscientiously.

Tasting note
Dark red with shades of purple. A delicately scented bouquet with seductive floral scents, notes of red berries and some pepper. Strong, fine-grained structure, lots of juicy, dense fruit extract, lingering for a very long time with lots of fruit and some vanilla and cedarwood. A solid red wine with some storage potential.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team is recommended for red meat, pizza with mushrooms and ribeye steak. Our recommendation: The ideal drinking temperature for the red wine is a slightly chilled 13°-15°C. The following period is the ideal enjoyment phase of this wine: Now until 2018.
Vinification
The introduction to the world of Zambujeiro wines! The same careful and artisanal production as the larger calibers, but mostly pressed from grapes from younger vines. A shorter aging period in used barriques does justice to the fruity wine. Fermentation in steel tanks at a maximum of 29°C. Aging in used French barriques for 12 months. Without fining (no animal proteins).
