About the wine
The Val di Foro is a valley between the Majella and the Adriatic Sea with a unique microclimate. This creates the perfect environment for growing a special grape such as Montepulciano. When planning the winery, care was taken from the outset to blend with the surrounding area in order to keep the visual and environmental impact as low as possible. The wine cellar, which was recently built using the best technologies, is surrounded by vineyards on the south side of the valley.
Tasting note
Intense ruby red with purple reflections, strong aromas of red fruits on the nose, such as cherry, blackberry, blueberry and strawberry. In the mouth, it tastes like red fruits, has a nice freshness and is easy to drink.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect as an aperitif and goes well with various dishes. From classic cold cuts and cheeses to fresh pasta and sophisticated dishes.
Vinification
Ferment the grapes at low temperatures to maximize the extraction of scents and color and to minimize the presence of tannin. After winemaking, the wine is refined in steel tanks for six months.
