About the wine
Fertile and picturesque landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Produttori del Barbaresco conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. The delicious Montestefano Barbaresco Riserva DOCG, which was produced in 2009, is sure to give you a lot of fun.

Tasting note
Rich ruby with cherry-red reflections. On the nose, ripe aromas of plums, peppermint, black chocolate and forest soil. Seductive and complex. The palate is strong, rich, full-bodied and always very elegant. Bundled power and aroma. Raspberries, plums, in turn forest soil. A powerful Barbaresco, with firm tannins and a perfect acid structure. Extremely long and complex in the finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with roasted meats, paired pasta dishes and aged cheeses.
Vinification
The grapes from the single vineyard Montestefano are picked by hand, gently pressed and the mash is then fermented in stainless steel tanks. The young wine is aged in large wooden barrels for 36 months. The wine then matures in the bottle for a further eight months.
