About the wine

The fertile and blooming landscapes of Tuscany give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Podere 414 conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. The snappy Sangiovese 2015 — Morellino di Scansano DOCG is the missing puzzle piece in your wine rack. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Sangiovese is ideal for serving with beef or pizza.

Podere 414Red wine | 75cl14.585% Sangiovese, 5% Ciliegiolo, 5% Colorino, 3% Alicante, 2% Syrah
Tasting note
The fermentation time is between 15 and 20 days at a temperature of around 28°C. 75 percent of the wine is aged in 225 liter barriques and 25 percent in 500-liter “tonnaux”.
