About the wine
Blooming and fertile landscapes of Tuscany give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Morisfarms conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. With the snappy Sangiovese 2013 — Morellino di Scansano Riserva DOCG, you can offer your guests something very special. Flaschenpost team promises a culinary experience when you offer this sangiovese with beef or lamb.

Tasting note
The prelude on the nose is already seductive. The bouquet reveals berry fruits in their optimal ripeness, accompanied by herbal aromas of maquis and fine notes of growth. This Riserva starts complex and multi-layered and also ends in the lasting, accessible and elegant finale. In between, it offers a lot: velvety fabric, content and a refreshing acid structure that gives its backbone and sustainability.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with charcuterie, mushroom starters, venison, polenta, lamb grilled meats, grilled beef, grilled pork and tomato risotto.
Vinification
Aged in barriques for twelve months, then aged in the bottle for a further six months.
