Strong ruby red - expressive nose with aromas of red and black berries and plums, peppery spiciness and floral notes of violets so typical of French Syrahs. Very well-structured palate, juicy and strong with lots of ripe berry notes, lush yet elegant, with fresh acidity and wonderfully balanced tannins. Finally, a complex, fruity finish. Quite full-bodied for once with an alcohol content of 14.5% vol. and therefore definitely a great option even for lovers of Syrahs with power!
