About the wine

In 1999, the Gottardi family transformed their family-owned estate into the Contrà Soarda winery and turned their passion for wine into a profession. Under the name “Musso”, which means donkey in the Veneto dialect, they launched a new product line in 2015. The winery is home to several donkeys that shape life and work at Contrà Soarda and make it unique. Each year, the family creates a new cuvée and names the wine after one of their animals. Winegrowing here is very close to nature. Today, the two children Marcello and Eleonora also work at the company, and together they provide fresh ideas and new impetus.
