About the wine
We have a special, dominant Cabernet Sauvignon from 2019 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. The winemaker from the Greek winery Anatolikos Vineyards grows this wine in the countryside in Macedonia. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Cabernet Sauvignon is excellent with red meat or ribeye steak.
Bio
Tasting note
A bright deep purple color, it starts with a discreet animality and when it dematerializes it releases a complex bouquet of ripe red and black fruits, dried plums and figs, pine honey, coffee and cocoa, roasted almonds. Gentle tannins, balanced acidity, abundant fruit, complex aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with white and red pot meat with vegetables, BBQ, game, cakes and maturing cheese.
Vinification
Cryo-extraction before fermentation, long fermentation with native yeasts at controlled temperature, maturation in their thin yeasts for 12 months in French oak barrels. It is not filtered and is not subjected to any treatment before bottling.
