About the wine
The farm run by the Scarbolo family is located in southern Friuli, nestled in rolling hills, on the right bank of the Torres. The clay and siliceous soils and the special microclimate are perfect for viticulture. Valter Scarbolo follows the development of wines from vine to bottle. Fermented in steel tanks, these classic white wines from Friuli focus on fruitiness and varietal specificity. Thanks to their restrained acidity and beautiful variety of aromas, Valters wines offer carefree drinking pleasure.

Tasting note
Shiny golden yellow, varied bouquet with fine tones of tropical fruits such as ripe melon and lychies. Hints of mandarin peel, floral notes and fine roasted aromas. On the palate, it is full and elegant, with fine minerality, pleasant fullness and a nice length and texture.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with crustaceans and grilled fish, raw ham with melon and seafood and vegetable risotto. Even with mild hard and soft cheeses.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in 500-liter French oak barrels. Aging on fine lees in oak barrels for 10 months. Another year of storage in steel tanks.
