About the wine
The winemaker from the US-American winery Beringer has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this white wine, which originates in the blooming and beautiful landscape of California. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this Chardonnay with fish with herbs or soft cheese.
Tasting note
Aromas of lively citrus fruits, pineapple, white pear and a hint of lemon meringue mingle with notes of hazelnut, nutmeg and delicate buttery notes. On the palate, it has a creamy texture, which is well supported by a juicy acidity and a long spicy finish. A classic example of a Napa Valley Chardonnay.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler tip: Perfect with soft cheese, truffles and goat cheese.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at night and early in the morning to keep them fresh. Fermentation takes place in French oak barrels, a quarter of which are new. In these barrels, the wine also undergoes malolactic fermentation and is further aged for 8 months. Each month, the yeast warehouse is stirred up, which gives the wine a creamy texture.
