Information about vinification: The Tuscan winegrowing entrepreneur Dr. Paolo Panerai (Castellare and Rocca di Frassinello) acquired a good piece of land a few years ago, including a somewhat run-down agriculture. Since then, a new winery has been built, the vines have been rearranged according to modern standards and, in some cases, replanted. The result is a winery that has already achieved considerable success in its young history. Particular attention is paid to the Nero d'Avola Versace. This wine is part of a project that Dr. Panerai realized with some of the most important Italian designers: The designers - in the case of Nero d'Avola i.e. Versace - created a label and left their name to the Feudi del Pisciotto. For each bottle of wine sold, a certain amount goes into a charity or cultural foundation. It goes without saying that everyone involved has the utmost interest in offering an excellent wine!
