About the wine
We have a special, biting white wine from 2017 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. Picturesque and sunny landscapes of the Rhine Valley give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the German Weingut Schätzel conjures up this white wine with refinement and experience. Flaschenpost team promises a culinary experience if you offer this Riesling with Asian food or duck.

Tasting note
On the nose, fine citrus notes, some quince, orange zest and minerality. On the palate, a fine interplay of yeast-spicy enamel, candied citrus fruit and a salty acidity kick. Fresh, animating and drinkable, yet finely interwoven and full of juice.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The perfect drinking temperature for the organic white wine is slightly chilled 8°-10°C. The following period is the ideal enjoyment phase of this wine: Now until 2030. Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Nierstein Riesling Kabinett goes well with shrimps, Asian food and mushrooms.
Vinification
Spontaneous fermentation in used fuder barrels and in stainless steel.
