About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Caruso e Minini has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the blooming and fertile landscape of Sicily. With the powerful Nerello 2012 — Nino Terre Siciliane IGT, you can offer your family and friends something very special. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Nerello with Sicilian pasta dishes or beef goulash.

Tasting note
Color: Intense ruby red. Aroma: Complex, broad and fruity bouquet of ripe cherries, plums and blackberries as well as black pepper. Character: Voluminous at the start with nice fullness, finely grained tannins that blend in wonderfully and enrich the structure. Full-bodied with a long, rich aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with game dishes, beef stroganoff, grilled meat, fresh cheese and much more.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully harvested by hand. At a controlled temperature, they are dried for 20 days using the Appassimento process. 48 months ageing in French and American oak, further ageing in the bottle for 12 months.
