About the wine
This dominant Chardonnay — Obrist Brut is in the truest sense of the word a hit right down to the last drop! The winemaker from the Swiss Obrist winery masters this white wine with sensitivity and intuition in the enchanting and fertile landscape of Vaud. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Chardonnay can be served very well with poultry or asparagus.
Tasting note
Noble pale yellow with a silver shimmer. Its fine continuous perlage emphasises the elegance of his personality. Complex bouquet with citrus fruit aromas, primarily lemon and mandarin, married with noble rose petal perfumes. Nice freshness and vivacity, a sparkling, cheerful wine.
Culinary recommendation
Festive wine, aperitif wine par excellence, smoked fish, shrimp amuse bouches, fresh asparagus, mussels, lobster soup, scallop skewer, grilled sea bass, duck in olive sauce, soft cheeses: e.g. brie, camembert, flambéed pineapple, apricot charlotte.
