About the wine
Dieter Meier's new Ojo Negro Malbec comes from the “black river” and impresses with its very dark color and noble bouquet. Beautiful... Oh yeah... Bow bow... chick... chicka chickaah!

Tasting note
Violet red, very dark color. Elegant bouquet with notes of blackberries, purple flowers, black tea. Compact and densely built wine with lots of breed, firm tannin, fresh acidity and nice, slightly salty minerality. Fine, long-lasting fruit notes on the palate with a little graphite and pencil on the finish. Wonderfully reflects the terroir of Patagonia's rugged nature.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The perfect drinking temperature for the red wine is a slightly chilled 14°-17°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: Now until 2025. Flaschenpost team tip: Ojo Negro Malbec goes perfectly with stuffed peppers, barbecue and wild rice.
Vinification
Fermentation with grapes' own yeasts in concrete and steel tanks. Aging in French barriques. Free from animal products - vegan certified.
