Bright lemon yellow — on the nose, this great white wine exudes incredible freshness and fireworks of aromas, including notes of dried pineapple, yellow stone fruits and ripe yellow apples, tangerine peel, wet straw and sweet and sour notes of passion fruit liqueur. On the palate, the wine shows an enormous amount of tension and energy with lots of fruit extract, which is wonderfully balanced by the linear acidity, but also by a great, granious minerality. The aromas seem a touch more exotic than in previous vintages, along with intense notes of sumptuous lemon liqueur, canned peaches and pineapples as well as a slightly greenish tone of crunchy apples. A pure Chenin Blanc that impresses above all with its fabulous purity and aromatic precision.
