Tasting note
The Finale Grande ORO embodies the new generation of southern Italian wines. A beguiling, full-bodied, full-bodied and noble wine! Opaque (almost black at a young age) with an intensely bright ruby red color. On the nose, we find a complex, wide and fruity bouquet. Aromas of cherry jam with nuances of plums, dried figs, vanilla and an extremely fine tobacco note are rounded off by a sweet note of port wine. The palate is dominated by a fat, fleshy and very ripe fruit, with the tannins being very soft and round. An intense, beguiling wine that is completely convincing on the nose and palate. This is probably one of the noblest and most powerful representatives of the Primitivo grape variety.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with roasts, grilled meats, veal, strong cheeses, beef, red meat, game meat
Vinification
Only the best and ripeness grapes are selected for the Grande ORO final. After a mash fermentation of approx. 8 days, the young wine is aged for 12 months in large wooden vats.
