Grapes selected from the best plot near the abbey from over 15-year-old Tempranillo vines form the basis for this Pago or Cru, as the French call a large plant from a defined location. The appearance on the nose is intense and complex: ripe fruit notes, spices and hints of roasted aromas. The palate reveals its character: full-bodied structure, density and depth. The finale is long, persistent and lasting, and will show its best side after a few years of bottle maturation.
