In the 1980s, he distributed noble labels in the USA. He then went to Bordeaux to satisfy his thirst for oenological knowledge. Andrea Franchetti finally came to the Val d'Orcia at the beginning of the nineties, where he laid the foundation stone for his wine project near the village of Sarteano, which he pursued with extreme consistency from the very beginning. Since the premiere with the fruits of the year 1995, which still had an experimental character, Andrea has not let up in his endeavor to create drops that, intense and so concentrated that you almost have to chew them, are right at the top.
