To be found in the Winespectator Top 100 ranking for five years in a row; Palazzo della Torre comes from the winery of the same name, which has belonged to the Allegrini family since the 60s of the last century. Villa della Torre, residence from the Rinascimento, was recently acquired. This wine, obtained using the special Ripasso process, has a good structure, soft fabric and a lasting finish. With a deep ruby red color, it has a pleasant scent of wild berries and nuances of raisins. Corvina, Rondinella and Sangiovese are processed according to two different methods: while 70% of the grapes are vinified immediately after harvesting, the remaining 30% rest until the end of December and are then pressed as dried berries and added to the previously produced wine in a new fermentation process.
