About the wine
Over 80% are fermented in French oak barriques, of which at least a third are new annually. The Chardonnay Collection matures for ten months in the same barriques on the lees. In 1978, Donald M. Hess acquired the first cultivated areas in the Californian Napa Valley, on the hills of Mount Veeder, and began building the grape estate, which today covers approx. 1000 ha.

Golden yellow in color with aromas of vanilla, cinnamon, ripe peach, pear and grilled pineapple. Creamy structure, fresh, with distinct woody aromas. Benefits from 2-3 years of bottle storage

Goes well with fine roasted poultry, curry, vegetable gratin, pasta with light sauce and mushrooms.
