About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Masseria Tagaro di Lorusso has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the sunny and fertile landscape in Puglia. With the distinctive red wine 2020 — Patronale Primitivo di Manduria DOP, nuances and accents are redefined. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this Primitivo with red meat or spicy hard cheese.
Tasting note
Clear, dense ruby red with purple reflections. Medium-bodied aromas of herbs such as rosemary, leather, smoke and toasted notes. The medium-bodied body and present acidity and tannins are well balanced with the slight sweetness. The aromas of red forest berries and licorice round off the wine. In order for the Primitivo di Manduria to maintain full harmony, it should be carafed.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with Italian foods such as pasta and pizza.
