About the wine
With the special Periquita Classico VR Península de Setúbal from 2014, you will positively surprise your guests. The winemaker from the Portuguese winery José Maria Da Fonseca masters this red wine with sensitivity and intuition in the sunny landscape in Terras do Sado.

Tasting note
Red-brownish color. The aroma has notes of leather, black fruit, black tea, violets and hazelnuts. The taste is very complex with well-integrated acidity, present tannins and aromatic fruit and wood aromas. A wine that can already be drunk now but can also be put in the cellar for at least 10 years.

Vinification
Only Castelão is fermented with stalks on the skin. This creates a temperature of around 28° degrees. The wine is then poured into used wooden barrels and left to rest for 24 months.
