About the wine
With the special Periquita Reserva VR Península de Setúbal from 2014, you will positively surprise your friends. Sunny landscapes in Terras do Sado give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Portuguese winery José Maria Da Fonseca conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity.

Tasting note
Clear medium cherry red. Open in the nose, with notes of vanilla, oak, blackberries, strawberries and currants. Violets and plums in the background. Very inviting. Fruity, vanilla start to the palate, good acidity, presence of soft tannins, with a pleasant finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with hard cheeses, Mediterranean cuisine, pasta, pizza, pork, poultry and veal.
Vinification
Fermentation with skins for 7 days in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature (26°C). Ageing: 8 months in new and used French and American oak barrels.
