Tasting note
That stays in the memory: Its flawless ruby red gives every occasion an extravagant touch. The playful bouquet of the Pessac-Léognan AOC of fruit compote, spices and tobacco shows a complex aroma structure and a lot of finesse. The dominant notes of black cherry, black plum and black pepper shape its individual texture. With subdued, pleasantly developed tannins, a strong body and dominant acidity, this fruity red wine shows its masterly texture. This top wine received the award: Wine Spectator: 90 - 93.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The perfect serving temperature for the red wine is slightly chilled 17°-18°C. Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Pessac-Léognan AOC goes well with pizza with mushrooms, ribeye steak and Gruyère burger.
