This rich Chardonnay comes from Clarksburg, the sun-kissed heart of the Sacramento wine region in California. The ripe fruit structure is balanced by a crisp acidity, which is preserved thanks to the harvest at night. The palate is rounded off by the sensitive use of new French and American oak, with ripe plums, apricots and lemons accompanied by a silky, buttery texture. The subsequent stirring of the fine yeast ensures balance and a long, mouth-filling finish. The wine goes perfectly with fish and white meat, but also with richer dishes.
