About the wine
The winemaker from the French winery Domaine de l'Hortus has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the sunny landscape of Languedoc-Roussillon. If you're looking for something special, don't miss out on this powerful Shiraz 2015 — Pic Saint Loup AC Hortus Grande Cuvée Rouge. Tasting note
Rich deep dark color, aromas of orange blossom, blueberries, licorice and various spicy notes fill the nose and palate.

Vinification
From Languedoc, north of Montpellier, this assemblage comes from Syrah, Mourvèdre and Grenache. Traditionally vinified, with long maceration and minimal filtration, a full-bodied wine is produced. This is aged in medium-toasted barriques from the Allier area.
