About the wine
The line “Alfabeto” by Janare uses the Osco-Samnite alphabet, which was written from left to right. The tablet by Agnone from the third century BC is one of the most important pieces with this script. The bronze surface of the tablet shows seven deities tied to the fruits of agriculture.
2024 to 2028
Tasting note
Ruby red with violet reflections.On the nose, small red fruits, cherries and violets. Fresh on the palate with young but soft tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Very good with baccala (stockfish), Parmigiana di aubergine, various pèasta dishes and with unaged cheeses.
Vinification
Harvest at the beginning of November. 12 to 14 days of maceration. 80% ageing in steel tanks, 20% in French oak.
