About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Torre Rosazza has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this white wine, which originates in the flourishing and fertile landscape of Friuli. With the special Pinot grigio Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC from 2016, you will positively surprise your guests.
Tasting note
Light, shiny straw yellow with reddish reflections. Distinct floral notes on the nose. Plus a whiff of ripe apple and melon. The start on the palate is soft and flattering. Juicy texture with fresh, well-balanced acidity. Citrus and melon aromas with spicy accents. Elegant, fresh, medium-long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with antipasti, freshwater fish or risotto.
Vinification
After harvesting and extensive selection, the grapes are pressed and fermented in steel tanks. Some of the young wine undergoes biological acid degradation. Subsequent aging also takes place in thermo-controlled stainless steel tanks, with the young wine remaining on the lees, resulting in a higher complexity of the aromas.
