About the wine
The landscape of Valais is mountainous and hilly, whose breathtaking expanses don't fit on a postcard, but in a bottle. With a lot of feeling and experience, the winemaker from the Swiss winery Adrian Mathier ensures that his craft inspires and convinces you. With the special Pinot Noir AOC Lucifer from 2016, you will positively surprise your friends.
Tasting note
Our Pinot Noir “Lucifer” is of noble crimson color. Its bouquet is reminiscent of red fruits and red berries. It has a very pleasant tannin structure that is round, harmonious and silky on the palate. It is a wine that provides delightful moments on many occasions. The palate is round and harmonious with a fine finish.
Culinary recommendation
Wonderful with lighter meat dishes and spicy cheeses.
Vinification
Before fermentation begins, part of the juice is removed from the mash and our Oeil-de-Perdrix is pressed from this must. Little must remains in the fermenting mash in relation to the amount of grape marc. This measure supports the valuable structure and color of this wine
