About the wine
Ata Rangi is one of New Zealand's absolute top wineries and is one of the pioneers in the Martinborough region. In 2010, he was honored as Tipuranga Teitei o Aotearoa (English “Grand Cru of New Zealand”).

Tasting note
On the nose, intensely scented aromas of cherries, strawberries, juniper, which blend with spicy and notes of cardamom, pink pepper and dried oregano. Clear and supple on the palate, with finely enveloping tannins that run the entire length of the palate.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with mushroom dishes, grilled salmon, Mediterranean meat dishes.
Vinification
11 months in French oak barrels (35% new ones), then cuveted and stored for a further 8 months before bottling.
