About the wine
Sunny and fertile landscapes of the coastal region give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the South African winery Beyerskloof conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. You will definitely have a lot of fun with the first-class Pinotage Reserve Stellenbosch, which was produced in 2015.

Tasting note
The varietal Pinotage glows in a dense, deep dark purple red. The nose presents intense aromas of blackberries and red fruits, underlined with the typical smoke and wood notes of the ageing. This is followed by a balanced and full-bodied body, fine tannins.
Vinification
The grapes are 40 years old on average and grow in the Hutton region. After pressing, the grapes ferment at 28-30° C. for 5 days. After malolactic fermentation, the young wine is transferred to oak barrels and matures there for 14 months.
