About the wine

The beautiful and sunny landscapes of the coastal region give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the South African winery Rijks Ridge Cellars conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Culinary recommendation
Goes well with hearty lamb dishes, game and game fowl, stews and stews such as bobotie, grilled meats and spicy hard cheese.
Vinification
48-hour cold maceration followed by mash fermentation. Aged for 20 months in French oak barrels, 60 & new barriques, used the rest 2 times. Only the wine from 14 barriques was selected for this bottling.
